As a passionate advocate for healthy eating and digestive wellness, I’m thrilled to share my role in curating the UK’s very first Microbiome and Gut Health Festival, happening this September in London.

Titled Inside Out: Your Microbiome and Gut Health Festival, this innovative event will transform Paternoster Square, right next to St Paul’s Cathedral, into a vibrant hub celebrating the fascinating hidden world inside our bodies. From 22nd–27th September, visitors of all ages will be able to explore a giant inflatable walk-through gut, making the science of digestion interactive, visual, and fun.

I’m delighted that the festival will be officially opened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on Tuesday 23rd September.

Bringing together over 25 leading medics, scientists, chefs, and nutritionists – including Dr Megan Rossi, founder of The Gut Health Doctor® – the festival will offer expert talks, live cooking demonstrations, and practical tips to help everyone support their gut health. Topics range from mood and stress to childhood development, so there’s truly something for every visitor.

Reflecting on my involvement,
“Curating this festival has been an incredible experience. It’s a chance to make gut health accessible, exciting, and inspiring for both adults and children. I hope people will come and explore the giant inflatable gut for themselves, and take away practical ideas to support their health every day.”

The Inside Out Festival is free to attend, with no booking required, thanks to the generous support of The City of London Corporation. Find out more about the event and the programme at: https://www.ghcprojects.com/insideout
