Are you struggling with signs and symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, weight issues, gastrointestinal disorders, chronic pain, low libido, mood disorders, allergic conditions, premenstrual symptoms (PMS), chronic stress or have had a recent cancer diagnosis?

As a registered Nutritional Therapist at The Food Teacher™ clinic Katharine works to identify the root cause of your signs and symptoms and support you to find better balance and work towards achieving optimal health.

Nutritional Therapy is particularly effective for chronic conditions such as depression, skin conditions, (such as eczema and psoriasis), weight management, type 2 diabetes, digestion problems, (including inflammatory bowel disease and IBS), arthritic pain, fatigue, osteoporosis, thyroid problems, sex hormonal imbalances, (including PCOS, PMS, acne, fibroids and endometriosis). Katharine was also the first Registered Nutritional Therapist to complete post graduate training to be qualified to work with clients with cancer in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Most clients book our package of two one to one nutritional consultations either in-person, over the phone or using video chat (Zoom). We always recommend a free 10 minute telephone consultation prior to booking your consultation to discuss your goal(s) and concerning issues. You will then receive our detailed health questionnaire (please note we have a separate questionnaire for children 0-10) to complete and return and we book your first session.

Katharine is registered with BANT and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, which can include cover from BUPAAvivaWestfield HealthHealth ShieldWPACigna (provider number: 223869), Aetna International and AXA, but please do check with your insurers for clarity. All consultations are fully insured and bound by professional standards.

For many clients greatest impact can be achieved using a functional test alongside the package of 2 consultations. Depending on your health and goal(s) these can include tests for food intolerances (Brunel Health) bone health (DEXA scan), female hormones (Katharine is a registered DUTCH test provider), stool tests (Genova Diagnostics), stress testing (DUTCH test), blood tests (Thriva/Medichecks) or Organic acid testing (Genova). These tests can be insightful when developing personalised plans and measuring progress.

Personalised food and lifestyle reviewsthemed cookery sessions and nutrition boxes are also available, which can also make great gifts for friends and family.

All packages can be booked directly from The Food Teacher Shop or following a free 10 minute telephone consultation.
