An interview for UK Health Radio with Bernardo Moya

The popular The Best You Expo kicks off in March at Excel, London on 4th and 5th March. It’s an arena of personal development for everyone, everywhere on a grand scale. The inspiration behind this event and driver of personal development and self help is Bernardo Moya who exudes a passion to educate, inspire and transform peoples lives.

Bernardo’s early career involved working as a DJ and selling time shares and real estate. It was during these years he realised he enjoyed engaging with and helping people. These times were not always easy and after loosing his money twice he spent a great deal of time looking for answers about life. His turning point and inspiration was a friend who introduced him to Paul McKenna’s book ‘Change your Life in Seven Days’, which ignited an interest for him in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), communication and language.

Bernardo’s life has thrown him many challenges. He lost his father when he was young and then his grandfather died six months later. He later joined the military police where he learnt discipline and worked hard. Through this and his career challenges in his twenties and thirties he believes he has become resilient and wants to share his passion to support others to develop resilience, welcome change and reinvent themselves.

Bernardo is CEO of NLP Life Training, and promotes some of the best-known names in Personal Development, including Paul McKenna and the co-creator of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler. He is also the Chief Inspirational Officer of The Best You Corporation, which includes The Best You magazine, TV channel and Expo.

This years The Best You Expo is the UK’s largest Personal Development and Self Help event. The Best You raises awareness around personal growth, education and how to enhance yourself and covers themes such as health, wealth, finance, technology and spirit. It includes an array of experts and inspirational therapists. Guest speakers include Jason Vale, Baroness Michelle Mone, Sharon Lechter and Hilary Devey from Dragons’ Den. The event also includes people who can help get your book published, help you with your business, help with spiritually and maybe find love! There will be over 100 exhibiting companies and an inspiration zone with gymnastics, magic, public speaking, yoga and much more.

Bernardo’s top tips for self development focus on being positive, question yourself about life, be resilient, recognise how lucky you are, be empathetic towards others, put things into perspective, welcome change and reinvent yourself. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want at whatever age you are.
