Description

These bakes are delicious and a great low sugar, high protein alternative to packaged biscuits. Rich in almonds, which are a good source of the minerals zinc, magnesium and potassium. They also contain the antioxidant vitamin E, beneficial for the brain and skin.

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 15 minutes Serves: 14

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C / 350˚F / Gas Mark 4.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine all the ingredients until the mix forms a sticky paste.
  4. Roll heaped dessertspoons of mix into crescents.
  5. Roll each crescent in flaked almonds and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
