Child Friendly Liver Pate



Liver is a powerhouse of nutrients and a child friendly recipe makes it accessible!

Packed with iron and B12 important for healthy blood cells and for providing energy. It’s also a great source of protein and Vitamin A supporting immunity as well as our skin and eyes. Chicken livers are also high in folate which supports our digestion and nervous system.

  1. Heat the butter and add all the ingredients except the juice and jelly.
  2. Heat for 5-10 minutes until the liver is cooked.
  3. Add the apple juice and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the bay leaf and pulse in a food processor until smooth.
  5. Spoon into a glass jar or serving ramekins.
  6. Gently heat the redcurrant jelly and pour on top.
  7. Serve with oats cakes/rye bread/sourdough or homemade seed slice.
